"Safe Internet Truck" met with students in Ankara

Planned to be realized in 81 provinces within the body of Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) " Safe Internet Truck" met with students in Başkent.

Safe Internet Truck was introduced to students at the event held at Fevzi Özbey Primary School in Ankara's Çankaya district. With the training organized by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK), students were given different technology experiences and a robotic coding course was given. The Safe Internet Truck consists of three main sections, and with augmented reality glasses, students had the opportunity to experience many games such as climbing mountains, amusement park games and basketball with a 3D printer. Stating that the Safe Internet Truck was established in partnership with the Access Providers Association and the Information Technology Corporation, Safe Internet Center Trainer Ahmet Ketencioğlu said, “The aim of our truck is to travel to 81 provinces, to educate our children about the conscious and safe use of the Internet, and to raise awareness about cyberbullying . Apart from that, we can transfer this information to them thanks to our technological devices. We have a piano made of cucumber and lemon. We have a flying lamp floating in the air, we have a 3D printer that attracts the attention of our children, and we have an augmented virtual reality glasses that attracts the most attention.”
