Cerebrum Tech has 9 times its revenue

Aiming to have a say in the world in the digital technologies market, the share of domestic technology initiatives is increasing day by day in the growth of Turkey. The success of technology startups stands out among Turkish startups that have received more than $3 billion in investment in the last 2 years. The accelerating demand for digital transformation in the world is also reflected in the Turkish economy. AI-driven sustainability solutions, cyberCerebrum Tech, which develops products in the fields of security and metaverse, completed the year 2022 with a remarkable success by doubling its turnover.

Founder and Chairman of the Board of Cerebrum Tech, which operates at a global level based in Turkey, Dr. Erdem Erkul said, “The contribution of high value-added technologies to the economy is also high. Turkish technology startups make their presence felt in the world market. We see that the competitiveness of companies focusing on digital transformation and sustainability solutions is increasing. We closed the year 2022 with a 908% increase in our revenue. We experienced 410 percent growth in the number of our customers. We have increased our channel partners, who deliver our products to customers all over the world, 2.5 times. By the end of the year, the number of subscribers of our products exceeded 278 thousand. Our company's EBITDA ratio was 425 percent. Investments made in technology in our country pay off by supporting exports and growth.”

Metaverse ecosystem Cereverse ready for breakthrough
Stating that they focused on Cereverse, the metaverse ecosystem they developed in line with their sustainability goals, Dr. Erkul said, “In December, we signed a strategic cooperation with Silicon Valley-based Plug and Play, one of the most prestigious innovation and investment ecosystems in the world. We are increasing our investments for Cereverse, which is included in the acceleration program of Plug and Play, which has released more than 30 unicorns. The Cereverse virtual city will expand rapidly this year. We will continue our contribution to the digital transformation of the business and education world with our 3D communication and productivity module CereMeet. We will present our video broadcasting platform CereTv with realistic avatars and CereArch modules for construction, architecture and home design more effectively to our customers. We are also developing modules such as CereFit and CereCinema and games that will attract the attention of young people to the metaverse. Cerebrum Tech, which is ranked 21st in Fast Company magazine's "2022 Most Innovative Turkish Companies" list, will further expand its progress with these investments.

“The number of employees has doubled, the R&D team has grown 4 times”
Pointing out that one of the most important problems of Turkey is the brain drain in the trained and educated workforce, Erkul said that the growth in innovative sectors also affects employment positively and said, “Two years ago, we set out by saying 'we trust the potential of our youth'. With this goal, we started our 'Her Dream' project last year with Habitat Association in order to direct especially girls to the technology sector. With the trainings we provide, we increase the employability of our high school students in the digital sectors. In order to reach our country's goals in the field of technology, we need to pave the way for our youth and offer them opportunities. In this sense, we are happy to leave 2022 behind with a significant increase in both production and the number of our employees. We achieved a 180 percent increase in the number of our employees in one year. We also expanded our team 4 times in Turkey's first Web3 R&D Center, which we put into operation in Bilkent Cyberpark in September. We work with a very young and dynamic staff. We believe that the growth that will continue especially in innovation-oriented sectors such as technology and software will create more opportunities for our young people to work in their own countries and build a future.”
