After the accident in which 2 Russian personnel died and 5 people were injured in the Çardak district of Denizli, the work of the Crimean accident teams, which conducted an investigation for 3 days, has been completed. The wreckage of the helicopter has been removed from the area where it crashed to be taken to Ankara.

A helicopter that took off from Kastamonu to respond to a forest fire in the Marmaris district of Mugla crashed in the Çardak district of Denizli for a reason that has not yet been determined. After the accident, Russian engineer Aleksandr Lakovlev and technician Alexey Volkov died at the scene, Russian citizen captain pilot Ilya Ivesenkhio, 2nd pilot Igor Turkov and technician Georgii Onuchin, Turkish citizen pilot Omer Kaan Cakir and representative of the General Directorate of Forestry Kenan Erdem were taken to hospitals.

After the incident, the wreckage of the helicopter was examined by Turkish and Russian Crimean teams in the region for 3 days. After the studies and samples taken, the wreckage of the helicopter was loaded into the truck with the help of a crane. It was stated that the wreckage would be taken to Ankara, while security forces took precautions in the area throughout the period.
